I am only at Season 2 episode 8 and I am so grateful to the host. I’ve learned so much and I appreciate especially how clear he is and not trying to whitewash certain events. For example I struggled to learn about Khalid ibn Walid’s poor behavior toward women (the ones he married and slave...Read full review »

From a Christian background, I was surprised I didn’t know so many facts and points of view from this part of our history. I’ve spent long ours listening to Muttaqi. It’s like a journey through time while you’re comfortably at home, in your car or in a hotel.

I was really enjoying this podcast until season 3, Br. Ismail is passing unauthentic events as fact and that really started to make me no longer enjoy this podcast. Season 3 is filled with Shia bias events, who are we as Muslims to judge the Companions of the Prophet(saw)? There is no evidence...Read full review »

This podcast is one of my personal favourites. The actual real life value of this is enormous. Indeed, this can be considered a monumental achievement.

This podcast bizarrely presents history from the perspective of official western power. Many western historians regularly critique the official narratives however this podcast just parrots it as if it is fact. I don’t recommend anyone listening to any of this podcast at all.

This could be interesting but this guy is boring. He is obviously reading a script in the most monotone, boring fashion. I want to learn about this subject, but he is not capable of keeping me engaged.

This is a good podcast for sure and worth listening to. However, I couldn’t get passed messing up some facts specifically revolving around Syria. Here’s just a few.
