Needs improvement but almost certainly will improve
Worst Podcast title imaginable - how did something so lumpen get selected? What else was on the list- ‘Stuff That Happened’?. It also feels misleading - by elevating events into a wider historical context and importance, the opposite to this title would appear true I.e. it turned out to be much more than it was - unless this contradiction was the intention, and if so, massive miss. So I downloaded it only because it is Jonathan Wilson. Production a bit shabby, and do we need JW butchering Moore’s famous commentary? Problem with rights? Also, can see why they picked this topic, but it is well trodden ground, and they left no fresh footprints Given JW excellent track record (Blizzard’s ‘Greatest Games’ much missed) and now only sporadic and grumpy appearances on GFW, doubtless this will find its feet. Episode on the sliding doors moment that was the Spurs 1987 treble that wasn’t would be much welcomed!

A really interesting and well researched podcast. Love how they have ripped off the rest of history quote introductions

Linking football history to today’s game is innovative and will interest both casual and die hard fans alike. Rob Draper in particular is excellent and I hope he continues to drop...Read full review »
