Very interesting - hate voice over
This podcast casts a very interesting alternative narrative for the “keep calm and carry on” and the “blitz spirit”. The archive data of public opinion is very interesting as well but I absolutely hate the way it is presented in a crappily sounding archive voice. It is very distracting. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Such an original and effective way of exploring post ‘45 British (and Commonwealth) history. As a New Zealand listener I can recognise many of these themes and echoes. Am thrilled there’s a 3rd season on the way! Another Podcasters’ gem!

Enjoyed this look at Britain’s ongoing WW2 nostalgia habit. Good contributions from historians that puts Brit’s view of WW2 into a more balanced context. Good point about German anglophilia, hadn’t thought about that.
