“I like the crew, the show was much better in the past. The crew work best when they can actually cover the news and gaming topics with their views and opinions. But recently the show's quality has become An issue only about a third of the podcast is good. Toilet humour gets very boring after a while and in many episodes it's feels like they have run out of interesting things to say so more toilet jokes to fill in the time.
I much prefer the movie boys podcast where Jim is still offensive, vulgar and funny but actually has a point and is commentating on the product. That's when Jim is at his best. The humour is less forced.
It's still worth a listen but quality has gone down over the months in my opinion. The focus on political views and bias of the gang is something that has become a bigger part of the show rather that the coverage of video games and critique and news. American politics for example is not the reason why I started to listen to the show, if they can tone down on these things then the show would be better. I like all the gang Jim, Laura and Gavin. And Laura's Uk destruction podcast has the feeling of what this show was like previously. With a much more focus on gaming content.”Read full review »
