Used to listen to every episode and did so for years but it’s become a drag. It was never the same since Gav left. I have no problem with Conrad and love BFS, but it’s just become a bit of a depressing moan fest.

I really enjoy the irreverent but engaging discussions on this show.

Absolutely still one of the best pods out there for games and news. The various spinoffs (TGD) are also excellent and fully deserving of their own Pods. Now please wash your hands!

Every videogame podcast out of the corporate media, and many independent ones too, involve huge amounts of dickriding: fawning over Ubisoft and ABK without so much as even acknowledging the exploitation which regularly occurs at those companies. The folks here actually understand the human cost...Read full review »

There is way too much Laura, please please talk less if possible. When you ask a question let others speak rather than hijacking every single episode to make it all about Laura. Jim stopped being funny or interesting so long ago but Jim, Gav+ Conrad would be so much better.

I’ve been a longtime listener of this podcast. And I feel it’s remained…pretty consistent? FYI the pod covers games and gaming news with a snarkier and more cynical perspective than you get from a lot of mainstream gaming outlets. If you like Steph’s review style, you’ll likely enjoy the sense of...Read full review »

Was a long time watcher of Steph’s YouTube channel. Finally decided to check out the podcast and now I’m hooked, it is my favourite podcast ever. Very funny gang made up of Laura, Conrad and Steph, they really know their stuff. Very informative and trusted critiques of games as well as news and...Read full review »

Used to listen every week. But since Gavin left and Conrad took over, I’ve slowly stopped listening. I just don’t like most of the games Conrad plays/talks about, and the entire dynamic has gone in a much more negative direction.

Such a fun podcast with 3 people that have a synergy together : Laura, Conrad and James Stephanie Sterling are clearly very good friends who love to talk about video games (the good and the bad about video games, which not enough do bring up in the media !). Can not recommend enough !

This podcast makes me proud to be a gamer. I love Stephanie, a true hero.

My dissection of a typical episode of the greatest video games podcast: Part 1: Steph, Laura, and Conrad talk for 10-20 minutes about a topic that interests them this week in a desperate but futile attempt to avoid talking about video games. Part 2: Laura brings up the topic of video games and...Read full review »

This used to be my favourite podcast but I can’t get through an episode now. Laura is the only one with a real interest in games. Conrad never plays anything and rarely has anything meaningful to contribute, the show needs a 3rd host who actually plays games. The “who’s played what” section is...Read full review »

The banter between Jim Steph, Laura and Conrad (and Gavin when he used to be there) is always an amazing time, and it also gives you all the gaming news you really need as a nice bonus.
redarremer via Apple Podcasts · France · 10/22/21
I started listening because I very much enjoy JSS’s youtube reviews and their video game industry takes. The podcast is an opportunity for the hosts to chat about socio-political issues and some games, no problem there (but I would enjoy some more game chat). But my lord, the self-promotion is...Read full review »

I still love Laura and Stephanie to death, but Conrad joining the show has taken the tone in a more mean spirited direction than I’m a fan of. Yes, gaming news is worse than its ever been, but there has to be a balance instead of a negativity vortex. Gavin provided some balance and calm, Conrad...Read full review »

I found Jim’s channel a while ago and I’ve had so much fun with their content since. I’ve binged basically all of their latest videos and some of the ones they’d done earlier back. But this has led to a dilemma, I’m starved for more of their content. So I’m glad I found this when I did 😅 Great...Read full review »

For many years I used to really enjoy Jim’s work. He was funny, and his opinions used to be spot on. Now the podcast is less about games, and more about Trans issues and woke politics. This is fine, but not what I signed up for. A classic example of ‘Get woke, go broke’. The Irish guy who left a...Read full review »

This podcast is great! If you are looking for something that stays on-topic of video games 110% of the time, it isn’t for you. There is a focus on video game discussion and the state of the industry, but the hosts rightfully don’t ignore the absurd world we are all living through. 10/10.

And the one guy talks all the time and interrupts Jim and Conrad all the time. You can skip the last 10 minutes of every podcast since all they do is promote their sites and ebeging.
Wings80 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/26/21
All they do is promote themselves and moan about video games. Laura is quite positive about some things but it’s mostly about herself and Nintendo games. Boring and repetitive!
ieroipad via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/17/21
This podcast spends less than half of its air time actually talking about games. It has become more of a bemoaning session on the state of the world. I had to stop listening because it is actively making me angry and depressed.

A funny podcasts about gaming and whatever else they feel like talking about. Great hosts with likable personalities, the better episodes are when they are being more positive and while i don't always agree with what they say i respect their views. Don’t bother listening, it’s nothing more then Laura constantly bringing up her books, how games are anti-lbtgq and Conrad is only there because he know Jim and adds nothing to it, spin off doctors was the only thing worth listening to but they ain’t done that for ages.
GamerRiderG3x via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 11/26/20
The hosts are amazing and hilarious. Their discussions on video games and the video game industry are compelling and they cover topics on the industry that others would too worry to say.
Blue Sicx via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 09/18/20
I listen to the podcast because I’ve found that I tend to agree with Jim’s opinion on games, on more than a few occasions I’ve bought and enjoyed a game that I would have ignored or been completely unaware of if not for Jim. The enthusiasm for games is declining in an inverse relationship to how much the TWIPPLE-AAEEEJ industry is taking the p!ss.
