“Joel Osteen's podcast is superlative! While he does not explain in depth who Jesus is every single episode, he does provide powerful and uplifting messages that completely restore the spirit. Joel talks of how to have a better life through Christ, and I don't think that's a bad thing. He has let us know, for those of you who watch his show, that life won't always be EASY, but that it will become BETTER, and that all of the sin and hardships won't affect us if we are completely committed to Christ; when we follow God whole-heartedly, He will provide for us in a way He sees fit. Trials will come, and temptation will still be there, be we will have the Power to resist them. Joel uses many Bible verses to back up what he says, while still keeping us amused. God wants us to be happy while we follow him, and Joel shows us how we can serve God by improving ourselves--not by becoming concited, but by being healthy, kind, humble...Joel shows the danger of being prideful, moody...Joyce Meyers is very similar, just a bit harsher, and I've noticed all the great reviews she's getting. Joel deserves respect; not because of what he's TRYING to do, but because of what he IS doing!”Read full review »

Think positive thoughts, be nice, stop thinking about anything that is disturbing - this is the message of Osteen...”Read full review »

“I'm listening to Joel Osteen for the first time and there is something that rubs me the wrong way about his message. He seems to preach a self-focused gospel instead of a Christ-centered Gospel. The Gospel is not 'Jesus and what he can do for you' but 'Jesus Christ and Him...”Read full review »
