“First, if you don't like Mr. Osteens message, turn the channel. Just like the food network, if you like Emeril and don't like Paula Deen, don't watch! Second, coming from a Catholic background, I had my fill of "going to Hell", except on Sunday. Mr. Osteen is a great teacher of the meaning of Faith. His plain, simple, commonsense approach to believing in God is what is needed today. The Jerry Falwell's of the religious circuit have made many of us doubt the authenticity of the message. Osteens down home, grass roots messages are like sitting down and hearing great stories from my Dad. He's teaching people to give up the control that everyone seems to harbor now in today's instant gratification society and let things take a natural course. To realize there are no mistakes or accidents, that things happen in one's life for a reason! That hard times prepare us for the good time. If he's not your "cup of tea", excersise your right to the remote control, but for thoose of you who stay tuned in, your "cup runneth over".”Read full review »
