“John Piper is a pastor's pastor, a preacher's preacher. He loves God's flock by loving God. His sermons are always drenched in study and emotion, making him a passionate teacher of the head and heart. There are times he can lay on the abstract too strongly, so much so that the understanding can be lost. However, most of the time this is not the case. One need not agree with him on every point (who agrees with anyone on every point) to be blessed by every sermon. Very humble but powerful in delivery.
