I’m really grateful for this podcast, it’s so helpful. A great pace for a beginner - not speeding through but also not dragging so much that it’s tedious. Overall sound quality not great (especially the intro/ outdo music) but it’s not that bad.

This is an excellent podcast—a much needed reprieve from the crushing monotony of lockdown.

Clear, engaging, and fun. Even for law professors who have read these texts, this is a great podcast.

I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast and am so grateful to Professor Shapiro for making it. Not everyone gets to go to Yale Law, and for night-school lawyers like myself, the philosophy-of-law course offerings were few. Many lawyers like me end up participating in judicial decision-making without...Read full review »

This is one of the best things I’ve listened to in a long time. I’m not a lawyer by any means but work in a field (urban planning) where I work with the law every day. Until getting started on this podcast, I never realized how little attention I paid to the nature the law itself. As esoteric as...Read full review »

Hi, a review is called for, I’m pleased to provide one, this series is accessible, easy to listen to, interesting and the sessions to each episode are obviously well planned and the information is stated clearly. Good and easy to listen to, whether you’re in quarantine or otherwise. Cheers Andy

For an elite school lawprawf, this jurisprude philosopher is so humble (and funny) it is beyond endearing. This podcast is definitely a top-5 gem to get you through this pandemic, and it is accessible to listeners even without a legal background. Cannot wait for him to try a more technical...Read full review »

Excellent podcast. Can't recommend highly enough. I only hope that it does not lead to lighter tweeting as Scott is easily one of the best follows on Twitter.Read full review »
