“An actor's journey can be a lonely, confusing, and difficult path with many unforeseen twists and turns, and luckily, this podcast helps shine a light by providing answers to questions we are sometimes unable to ask. Conversations with working actors offer a treasure trove of practical knowledge. Each guest brings their own personality, experiences, and lessons which can be easily translated to our careers. The host, Ryan, helps steer the conversation to be beneficial to aspiring actors by navigating through the guest speakers acting journey and how they found success. Ryan is excellent at assisting actors to break down vague comments, such as "putting in the hard work" and always accompanies those responses with "what do you mean by that?" This seemingly-basic follow-up is essential because there is no manual or clear road for an actor, and specifics are so helpful and encouraging, especially for a newbie. The conversations flow well, and Ryan is an entertaining host, so I'm never bored. I've listened to way too many podcasts for actors, but this one is the one I highly recommend, hands down!”Read full review »
