“Been a fan of Mark Kermode since his days doing film reviews on the Simon Mayo morning show back on Radio One. I regularly seek out his content buy his books and listen to Wittertainment.
Sadly this podcast might not be something I can listen to.
The copious and unnecessary use of the word “like” by one of the co-presenters affects me like fingernails on a chalkboard.
Admittedly it’s an issue I have to deal with personally rather than expect others to change but I find it unbearable and can only listen to episodes where that specific presenter is absent.
Otherwise it’s a great podcast with interesting guests and subject matter I adore.
If you can tolerate the “likes” add two stars :)”

“I’ve always enjoyed the podcast and Mark is a warm, genuine presence but Jack Howard using the podcast to accuse people of transphobia with no right of reply is absolutely appalling. One listener lost while Jack Howard is co-presenting.”
