Like the song, I'm worth it, Splitscreen is worth it
I listen to Destiny podcasts, Clash of Clans podcasts, and Star Talk Radio. The reason I listen to Kotaku Splitscreen is for everything else. I'm a video game fan and for the most part, Kirk and Jason cover the games I want to know about. What they do really well is report on how a true journalist functions in the video game industry. It's fascinating because I'm getting inside information about how the industry functions, how difficult it can be to be a game developer, and I am feeling more patient as a gamer. My criticisms are minimal and I would ask that when either Jason or Kirk say they, hate, or dislike a game, try to explain in more detail what that means. Is it not worth my time to play because the game lacks depth or fun, or is broken in a way, or is it a game type they don't enjoy. Also, I think it's Jason, but having listened to all of your podcasts it is clear you like JRPGs. I want to play them, but they seem like an enormous time sink and this is coming from a person who has played Destiny for around 600 hrs. Why do you like JRPGs, and which should we start with? Thanks for the shows and keep up the good work!Read full review »

This is why we need ethics in game journalism. I want this disclosed up front. This...Read full review »
