Political Populist Commentator Duo Know How to Punch UP
Kyle Kulinski, one of the leading founders of Justice Democrats, responsible in LARGE part to the success of "The Squad" in Congress, and the host of the popular YT show "Secular Talk" teams up with Krystal Ball, a former "Token Progressive Populist" as a contributor at MSNBC, as well as appearances on CNN, Fox, CNBC and Co-host of the widely watched "The Rising" w/ Saagar Enjeti. Her and Kyle's clear convictions and willingness to call out anybody In a position of power for abusing it makes it obvious why neither of them were really cut out for the current system of Mainstream Media and have been serious actors in establishing the legitimacy of Independent Media on outlets online like YouTube, Podcast outlets, and other Independent News websites. Powerful voices on their own, it's honestly a no-brainer for them to have teamed up to dive into topics and go beyond the surface level issues. The hosts thus far have all been striking in relevancy during this Political Climate, and Kyles accurate input and questions for the guests walong with Krystals comfort with interviewing and keeping the conversation on topic along with much of the former mentioned makes this show different from simply "checking the news." If you're a progressive, it's so important to hear ideas from the best of minds, which seems to be the only guests they have on. It's a show that leaves you feeling *just* that more hopeful. Getting into the Psychology and Zeitgeist of the country allows you to understand the root problems in a way that leaves space to actually start thinking of fixes for it. Often times Pundits tell you what's going on, why it's bad, and leave you thinking how messed up the country is. Once you start understanding what makes a "bad actor," how they control the narratives and systematic policies that cause so many of these problems, and what exactly they're doing- you're able to focus your attention vertically, rather than laterally like our Media tries to make us think. (Read: "Hate Inc. by Matt Taibbi) -Class struggles over racial biases. -Power Imbalances rather than people with opposing views with no money and no power. -Economic Disparity to a shameful degree, across political aisles, caused by the powerful not by your neighbor. Theae two know how to punch UP. Not sideways- and that is so much more powerful than the latter.Read full review »

I’m center-right and was looking for leftist commentary to balance out my news (which is hard to find with all the woke nonsense). While I disagree with a lot of the takes, Kyle and Krystal are balanced in their approach and have interesting guests. I’ll keep listening!

Krystal—you are awesome and love you on Rising! Kyle—please, please, please stop with the nose-breathing puffs! It’s totally distracting as well as disgusting to hear!
