Zero morals. You can easily find better law podcasts

Kind of doubting Liz’s feminism since her cohost lost his first legal podcast over being an alleged sex pest & then related legal fallout.

I really missed him! Great addition to the show.

Dye’s incisive, insightful commentary, just the right amount of snark, plus erudite and entertaining guests make for a fantastic podcast.

Glad to have Liz back in action!

When Lisa left OA, probably because Chris Hopper (Andrew Torres ) did, I have to say I was totally surprised that MTV’s Jackass star Steve-O got a law degree either before or after he started his sobriety journey. I hope Chris Hopper well on whatever he’s doing now. How much do you want to bet...Read full review »

I was so sad when Liz left OA (and Thomas took it back; it’s not nearly as good now, all due respect). So I was understandably thrilled to learn that Liz was launching her own podcast. Liz is brilliant, insightful, funny, and relatable. I could listen to her talk law all day.

I’m thankful Liz Dye is sharing her perspective and humor to serious law topics, immediately relevant. The show format is fresh. There is a balance of Liz Dye’s editorial and guest and subject matter expert’s opinions who bring facts to discuss. Liz Dye is not intimidated to state when she...Read full review »

I’ve listened to the first 5 episodes, and so far I’ve enjoyed everyone one of them. It’s very informative

Listening to this show feels like someone took only the good parts of different legal podcasts and put them into one show.

A great law explainer for the lay person. I’ve followed Liz on other podcasts, and can highly recommend this one too.

Excellent show! Really satisfies my itch for hardcore legal analysis (at least for a non-lawyer like me). Keep it up Liz. Love the show :)

more of an explainer tone than her writing but still has its little thrills. so far i love it! to those changing the world by undermining liberal pundits: your actions make you right wingers (it’s just a definition thing) which you all of course have every right to be 😁

Liz is able to take legal issues and break them down into language we all can understand. Nice that she does it with wit and humor too. Worth a listen.

Loving Law and Chaos. Liz Dye was the best thing about Opening Arguments and she’s in her element here in the new Law and Chaos podcast. American political / legal analysis at its best, informative guests with bonus of Liz’s dry humour. Following up substack and patreon content.

Liz Dye has a great way of discussing the legal news of the day in a way that those of us who have not gone to law school can understand. The discussion is no nonsense while being transparent about the reality of the situation and Liz’s opinions on the matter.
You don’t care who I am via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 02/19/24
I love listening to Liz, she’s sharp and entertaining. As a non-lawyer, seeking to understand the legal complexities and shenanigans of today’s America, the analysis is first rate imho.

So much for being a feminist

I was sad when Liz Dye said goodbye from “Opening Arguments” and I’m so pleased to find her here! She has wit and charm in buckets. Refreshing. Delightful. Just the best delivery of genuinely informative content.

I really enjoy your commentary Liz, but this guest is so salty and I was glad to hear you push back on some of his comments. He seems jealous, like he is mad because he didn’t get hired by Fani or something. Anyways I will continue to listen and hope you have fair guests, we are democrats...Read full review »

Like many others here, I was introduced to Liz through opening arguments, and was more than a little distraught when she announced her departure last week. What? You can’t just take away the human who breaks down the law news so well and who has great insights + humor! Great first episode and I...Read full review »

Liz Dye is one of those people you think of as a friend despite only knowing her from her writing and podcasts. Smart, knowledgeable, insightful, and engaging. Definitely a follow.

It’s fun and Liz and her guest know what they are talking about. Love it!

She is brilliant, funny, insightful, helpful, and I am not great at writing reviews. Suffice to say well worth the listen, I cannot wait to see this podcast grow.

Liz, congratulations! Learned a lot from your 1st guest & thoroughly enjoyed your inaugural episode. I also appreciate the links to court dockets, etc, provided with the episode.

Liz Dye is a great host. The discussion is insightful, informative, and includes complicated legal issues that are clearly and concisely explained.

Fantastic first episode! Took on a complex issue and broke things down in a way that laypeople could understand. Added bonus: Liz Dye’s sense of humor. I’m looking forward to hearing future episodes.

I had a pit in my stomach when I learned that Dye had left opening arguments and wondered who would fill the void. I was so happy to hear about the new podcast and the first episode does not disappoint. Great guest. Great facts. And the snark was brought. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to...Read full review »
