Ambivalence
I'm really excited by the content and structure of this podcast; as an Indian living outside the country, unique ways of keeping up with the talk of the nation are critical. The show addresses really interesting and relevant topics and has the right idea in terms of equitably introducing differing viewpoints on a subject (similar to KCRW's Left, Right and Center). Just a couple of remarks: although I appreciate that the host is female and has a great handle on acting as moderator, I have trouble with her frequent interjections while a contributor is speaking ("Okay", "Alright") that take away from the speaker's point - I think she really needs to give these contributors space to make their case. I understand why she needs to do this though, but I think it is the prerogative of the contributors to be aware of their time and their positions. They are not invited to talk and yell over each other as if this was daily TV news reporting. They should be better open to giving the stage to each other so that a healthier discusssion can be had - this would take some pressure off the moderator and enable a healthier, more robust "discussion" between perspectives, rather than the Q-and-A style that the podcast has become.Read full review »

Why do you encourage Hindi in NDTV English. Seems to be very disrespectful to non-Hindi speaking Indians. I would encourage all Tamizh speakers who join this program to speak only in Tamizh.

Great source of information with experts views. Covers all most all the segment with a very healthy discussion which not only make you aware about important issues but also put an impact to think about the issues minutely.Great show I really love the show.
