Instantly Lost Credibility
This series was recommended to me by a colleague, so I was looking forward to listening and learning. As soon as Laurie used the very dated term "HR Lady" in her intro (more than once!) she lost credibility in my mind. Not only is the term obsolete, it's also sexist and demeaning. There are many great males in HR, as well as females - most of whom won't appreciate being called "HR ladies." I’ve listened to the first two episodes, and can not wait for the next one. Laurie does a great job asking the right questions and leading the right direction to make her guests’ journey accessible and applicable to everyone pulling their hair out to fix themselves and their relationship with work!
