Like a wikipedia article
This podcast is like a wikipedia article, with essentially the same positives and negatives. On the plus side, you get a decent overview of a particular topic with enough information to make your way through a party conversation about the topic at hand. The host also does a good job of segueing between thoughts and linking ideas together in a coherent way. On the negative side, you basically have to take the host at his word - he doesn't provide attribution or access to primary sources such as interviews. He also lets his personal views drift in, which would be fine if he didn't present them as uncontested facts, which he unfortunately does on occasion.Read full review »

Colin introduces, or reintroduces to some, surprisingly intricate themes and does so in a casual but very polished presentation of thoughts and observations. Check it out!

Dear Colin! What a great podcast you started. I am always amazed at your knowledge and your insights into a lot of topics. Those topics are spot-on and provide substantial insights into topics that I would not go an research myself. Great listening to you! Stefan from Zurich
