I couldn’t help thinking that a boutique financial firm did what was in their best interest at the time of Caddick’s sacking. To report her would have generated bad publicity for her employers who were managing other peoples finances. As well as that it’s easy seeing things clearly in hindsight. While I’m a huge fan of Kate’s investigative and fearless journalism, Episode 1 is full of self indulgent ramblings about the two hosts and inappropriate and corny attempts at humour. I really expected more substance and I hope Episode 2 will be an improvement because it is such a fascinating story.
