“I’ve come to like Andrew’s approach to this podcast. It’s a little jarring at first because it’s not like other ones eg those really scripted ones or two people fumbling their way through a story.
It comes across as like your uncle who’s a really good story teller. Andrew knows a lot and has seen it all with his experience and it feels like he’s reciting every topic off the top of his head with minimal notes.
That’s not for everyone but I enjoy it. The detail he goes into about Melbourne and its seedy and colourful criminal history is amazing. It’s the little details and extra stuff you don’t get from sensationalist TV shows
The ads are repetitive and a little much but overall it’s great content. Also great to fall asleep to”
