Simple format, it’s like sitting having a cuppa with a friend listening to fascinating stories of their interesting job. Paul’s voice is really easy to listen to and the stories are quite different coming from a reporter’s perspective. Highly recommend!

It’s the fabulous yarns dripping with fact yet always told at just an arms length that hold you! This is the podcast I’d take to a desert island nothing to do with that larconic sexy Aussie voice - actually that is a fact!!

I absolutely love the style and content of these Podcasts.

I’ve been enjoying this podcast. Until today, when I listened to a very biased interview with a court reporter about about George Pell’s acquittal. If Pell is innocent, witness J is a liar and confabulator. This interview is cruel, and a slap in the face to victims of clerical abuse. In average,...Read full review »

Andrew Rule’s veteran approach adds credibility to his research, with plausible concepts, logic to theories and a thorough investigative approach. Massive fan of this mans work! JPerkins

I used to enjoy listening to this podcast but it has become too political in recent times.
Tootza via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 04/15/20
This was a disgraceful episode made by sycophantic men steeped in the rotting stew of Catholic depraved tradition. Typical of the “Catholic Boy’s School’s” view of their objects of pseudo Christs are above the law and therefore, can do no wrong.
piglypig via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 04/15/20
I love the way he tells a story, it’s like you’re sitting at the pub with him downing schooners👍
Fitzy 1971 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 04/15/20
Used to love this pod but I found the episode about Pells acquittal very biased

Andrew Rule is a great story teller, love the podcast. However please don’t defend Pell. Please.

I love Andrew’s style, I can never tell if he’s reading from a script or speaking from memory. I have listened to nearly all the episodes and just now listened to the Beaumont children and wanted to say how well you express such sympathy for the families while stating the facts without...Read full review »

Just finished the first of the Beaumont children. Andrew has a gift for telling these dreadful stories, but the episodes are far too short. It leaves one with the feeling you’ve listened to the support act. Like a 40’s chapter play before the main feature. It’s a pity. A podcast like this could...Read full review »

The respect given to the events as they are recalled is fantastic. Clearly an extremely experienced man in Andrew Rule. I’m late to the party but am quickly getting through the podcasts due to the interest provoked and quality of delivery.
Rocketman Enterprises PTY LTD via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 03/23/20
I’ve given this a 5 as the people interviewed have really interesting lives, pasts and stories. Sometimes the into music plays over the top of dialogue. Also, I think it might help guest’s storytelling if Andrew didn’t interrupt while they were talking. Still, it’s the guests that make the show

Love the stories and would give it a 5 star rating but for some fading in and out. Possibly microphone position.
Luciver1963 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 03/16/20
Was annoyed to hear Andrew talk of a former policeman who murdered his wife as “ hoping she was well Insured” Dear me. Andrew, we know you are a dinosaur but they kind of language to describe murder of women is unacceptable. You need to publicly apologise. Disgusting.

Mr Rule , Have been listing to your pod cast and love them . The only thing I have questions about is how come there is nothing about the local courts in this country.
