I came across this podcast series a couple of months ago and I’m hooked. Andrew is a fantastic storyteller. I go an extra walk around the block at night just so I can listen to another story.

Fantastic podcasts listened to nearly all of them. I can’t understand why there is a need to bleep out swearing when the content is filled with gore and violence. Also would love you to do an episode with Charlie Bezzina.

Outstanding podcast Andrew! I really enjoy the episodes but sometimes you could dig a little deeper into some of the cases....for example, I don’t think you gave enough attention to The Satin Man and his connection to the Beaumont Children mystery. Channel 7 did a huge story on this and clearly...Read full review »

I love Rule’s dry, subtle sense of humour. It’s what really makes this podcast so successful and interesting.

Hahaha the missus and I were wetting ourselves listening to this truly breathtaking attempt to turn a crook into a saint! Never heard so many Dorothy Dixers in one interview - we were rolling on the floor by the second time you asked him about riding for the disabled lol

I really enjoy listening to Andrew Comment of the century was when he said cristopher bins was born at a very young age. Lmao. Great pod cast

The only issue with this pod is it’s too short. Rule is informative low key funny and very likable

I’m not usually a fan of conversational podcast but this is really interesting. Lesser known local cases I haven’t heard on other Aussie podcasts.

I have been quite critical of some australian true crime podcasts, but these are simply A Grade quality. The difference? Andrew never makes it about himself - he devotes his talents to how to tell the story! I only wish the “others” could get the hint.

Hey Andrew, love your podcast and guest’s stories BUT can you stop inserting yourself into the story. Let the guests tell their stories without your constant interruptions. It is annoying and breaks the continuity of the tales.
Ghaz765! via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 07/26/20
Andrew, you are so good at telling stories and I loved the earlier episodes where you told the story of interesting crimes. I don’t enjoy the interview episodes and find it irritating when your guests are talking and you keeps saying “Yep, yep, yeh, yeh” I feel you should just let your guests...Read full review »

I have enjoyed some episodes of this podcast immensely but recently I’ve found the tone of the old coppers who are being interviewed to feel kinda off and the host appears to laugh along with and egg on some pretty concerning conversations with guests. It feels like im eavesdropping - I’m...Read full review »

If you are interested in Australia’s crime history this is a great podcast. There isn’t a whole lot of chit chat from the presenter - straight into the story. Only thing that is irritating is the adverts are much louder than the podcast. If you have used the sleep timer the loud adverts will most...Read full review »

I’ve enjoyed most of the episodes to date however the latest podcast featuring Ray Watson is a different experience. While I understand that dealing with dangerous crooks is not for the meek, to hear a former cop laughing about the way certain people are handled by police goes some way to...Read full review »

Andrew why are you giving air time to a thug and bully who once worked as a Policeman - in a squad notorious for corruption? He’s not funny or clever - he’s the type of fool that honest hardworking police have worked hard to shed themselves of the lingering reputation of hm and his ilk.

That case of the man who killed his wife and then upped to QLD and then came back and built a pool at his former house was eerily similar to the case of Lyn Dawson.

Excellent to hear the truthfulness from the family’s side. Enjoyed listening. What a tangled web with police and the underworld. Not much of a difference btw the two back then.

I like Rules no BS approach when he talks about certain crooks as vermin No do gooders here
jonky doo via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/24/20
Great podcast with some in depth analysis giving a greater understanding to many well known crimes. Only feedback would be if Ruler can speak a little quicker at times, he can really string out a sentence!!

Have loved Andrew Rule’s work since Chopper’s books and his ‘Underbelly’ book series. Very familiar with these murders but listening to the (adult) children of Terry and Christine was a fascinating insight into the family. Thank you

Hard to feel sorry for the Hodsons. All drug dealing scum and petty criminals. Live by the sword die by the sword. If they were around these days they’d be deported back to England. Zero sympathy. And they’ve just received a pay out, what a disgrace.
bennynorth via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/07/20
If you want to understand how crime is a normal part of some people’s lives, listen to these ‘children’ trivialising stealing, drugs, guns and jail! And how righteous of Mandy setting the record straight about who paid the bail! The nice criminal, raised with manners. What a puzzle these people are!
