“I consider myself a bit of a veteran of Ray & Cam's podcasts, including the excellent Caesar/Octavian podcast, Ray's WW2 podcast, and Cam's Napoleon podcast.
This is very similar to their Caesar/Octavian podcast, so if you enjoyed that you'll definitely like this one. I really appreciate that they are carrying on that podcast (after the death of JC) for free, and hopefully by paying for this one I'm supporting them to keep both podcasts going.
On the other hand this is very different to their other podcasts, which are much dryer, although still excellent.
Compared to the Napoleon podcast, it's fair to say that Cam has come out from his shell. He certainly has strong opinions, probably controversial for some, but I don't think he takes himself too seriously.
I love the musical interludes, and the humour is great, which makes the whole think a lot more fun to listen to. But there's also a huge amount of info and detail.
