an honest review sans smockin
My favorite part is that they discuss WHY certain films are bad with specificity and precision. Like for instance I think we all had a feeling the latest transformers was going to be awful, but to actually sit through it and then describe why it was awful is the most important part of criticism. Too many people, including the highbrow, recognize their revulsion to certain art, but can't explain why. This sort of intellectual and cultural rigor is what I appreciate most. My primary criticism is to make conversations a to explain a little better the barometer used to measure movies. The pacing of the podcast is also excellent- no topic is dwelled on too long making it absolutely enjoyable. It's small fallowing also makes for an experimental, albeit intimate listening experience. I expect nothing but improvement from a promising seed. -@WorldWideHamzahRead full review »
