“I've just bingelistened to the first three episodes of this podcast, and I can't wait for more to be made. Each epioside produced by Gretchen McCulloch and Lauren Gawne has been incredubly well-researched and fun. It's like listening in to a conversation between linguists at a party. While there are other linguistics podcasts out there made by actual linguists, this one is the only one that gives a non middle-aged male worldview that I've come across so far.
Gretchen and Lauren approach linguistics from a perspective of inclusivity, whether they're talking about pronouns in slash fiction or how aliens with tenticles might communicate via gesture.
