So a podcast from a bookstore that involves the authors talking about their books and the store wanting to sell the books can't tell you what the book is about? Just one descriptive sentence, is that so hard? Either that or all authors should be required to title their books, "This Book is...Read full review »

When I choose a podcast, even though there's a brief description of the book, it's not enough. I find myself listening and then closing that podcast because the subject is not what I expected. It would help if you would describe more specifically what the books concern. Other than that, I love...Read full review »

I like it that I can listen to these authors expand on the ideas they present in their book. Some of these people have really interesting stories and have put a lot of research into their subjects. Informative!

This is a great podcast. It makes me want to read the books that are being promoted. That said, I didn't like the one with Hillary Clinton. It isn't that I don't like her. It's that the person interviewing her helped her write the book. That seems like a conflict to me.

I like this podcast—a long form author talk/interview is important and much needed—but the sound quality is TERRIBLE. The mics on nearly every interview are poorly decibeled; you can usually hear the speaker breathing in a very awkward way, and many segments begin with a question similar to “can...Read full review »

Mr. Wright does an impressive job at explaining what draws people to this pseudo-religion. It is also refreshing to hear that the celebrities who so vehemently support Scientology should take responsibility for many of the darker sides of this organization. Mr. wright is very knowledgeable and...Read full review »
