inspiring interview - Episode 24
This was a great listen. I'll make my way through the rest of them. a long time ago i was hit with pretty significant trauma too, and it has taken a very long time to come to terms with it, my sister committing suicide. Hitting 40 this year and being indirectly impacted again with suicide it has prompted me to challenge my self and try and make a difference through fundraising. Ive not got the drive or skill to turn my love of cycling into a career, but I'm determined to challenge myself physically and mentally this year. Really enjoyed this interview. Wonderfully informative podcast about simple ways to get back to nature with interviews with ordinary people and what they are doing in Alistair’s area. Has inspired our family to get out more often in our own local area and to consider the environment more.

I’ve read a lot of Al’s books, gifted some to my young nephew, and in return I’ve been a little more adventurous in my life. Everest can wait for now but my local fields and woods have nicely fit the bill. A nice podcast and who doesn’t like hearing people’s stories?

A fascinating insight in to the lives of so many different people delivered in a lovey informal friendly style. Not just interesting but also educational with lots of points that can be of help for anyone, regardless of whether they are interested in adventure in terms of “outdoor pursuits” or not.
