A couple of days ago, it was revealed that Jack Hughes would be shut down the rest of the season. He recently had season-ending shoulder surgery in Vail, Colorado. Since the New Jersey Devils were already eliminated from playoff contention, it didn't matter either way. Hughes has been dealing with a few injuries throughout the season.
