“Longform interviews about longform writing. I listen to learn about writing craft and method, and also about the career paths of professional writers. I end up learning a lot about the writers' passions, whether that be Afghanistan, pre-mature births, or psychedelic drugs. I’ve also learned a lot about the homes for good writing (i.e. which publications to watch) and am interested in every guest’s take on the future of journalism in the internet age. I listen whether or not I recognize the name of the guest, and am usually pleased. There were some severe sound issues in the beginning, but as the podcast matures the sound improves.”Read full review »
