“Beautiful podcast, the music is spot on for the style, not overwhelming, just enough to add to the tension. The acting is fabulous. You really do feel like this is a woman you might know and you empathize with her lonely situation. My only complaint is, I'd like more of the setting. In the first episode, the attic is described in unsettling detail, random walls built so that it resembles a human brain. Very nice. Subsequent episodes don't really dig into the house itself or even where it's located. Is it the North East? The South? Better descriptions of the setting would push this podcast into excellence, the epitome of its genre.
It feels very much like a fresh take on the classic gothic theme and there's just enough implied mystery and danger in each episode to keep you listening to the next to find out more.
I've listened to A LOT of podcasts and it's difficult to find really good ones like this. Truly a gem.”Read full review »
