I really enjoyed the content of this show, I can listen to it for hours which is fantastic! Really interesting history. My only issue with this show, which ended up diminishing how great it is, is that there was so much repetition as episodes went along. St times that I had to double check to...Read full review »

Good podcast but really just reedited audio frim other programs. However the ads are way to many and very annoying, so bad any product that sppears goes straight to my product bkack list. And every time they say the word ‘mafia’ they say it the way you say ‘Ta Daa’ - Good Grief

I’m finding these podcasts really enjoyable and as somebody who is really intrigued by the Mafia, I find these very informative. Seems like a load of effort has gone into making these and it shows. I don’t mind the adverts too much.

Well done, well researched, good narrator. Horrible commercials. Suggestion: there were 26 families at one time. Cover some of them outside of N.Y. and Chicago.

I have a history page on Facebook called Vintage History and I Love this podcast. It’s entertaining, educational and well done.. I’ve learned so much about America mob. I love the podcast about the mob players in Los Vegas. Thank you and I recommend this podcast if you love history.

Fleet Cooper has the perfect Mafia narrator voice!
Kay0507 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/16/19
I enjoyed this podcast very much, but wish it was more logical chronologically speaking. May I suggest it is reissued so that it starts with the beginnings of the mafia and ends with John Gotti and the mafia as it is today, without really changing the core material.

As a former law enforcement who for almost 4years was a assigned to an Organized Crime Task Force in Chicago during the reign of the Chicago Outfit in Vegas. I found those sections riddled with factual errors! It was poorly written and made Clifford and others sound like buffoons!

Amazing podcast, informative and with great sources. The narration is excellent. Everything about the podcast besides the ads appearing all over the place is great. If they put the ads at the start and end, like with Joe Rogan, I’m sure people would give this a solid 5* and listen to them anyway,...Read full review »

I totally love this podcast. I’ve been hooked since the first episode of season 1. Wonderful stories and very interesting!

A big problem with the episodes on Rothstein in relation to the 1919 World Series. Kamiskey paid his players quite well and there is little evidence that lefty Williams was threatened on the evening of game 8. See podcast Infamous America Season 2 for a good history of the 1919 World Series.

This Podcast has great content. The frequency and length of the advertisements are pretty annoying and off putting.

Gave this podcast a chance and although I did like several of the topics, I didn’t care for the way they did the ads. There is a lot of ads but hey I get it, you gotta pay the bills. The particular part I didn’t like about them is the fact that they happen in the middle of the episode and they...Read full review »

I just got into this show and cannot stop binging. The narrator does a fantastic job. I also really enjoy the insight as well as other details given by the interviews. Please put some more out! You guys are great!

My word the amount of adverts in a 30 minute episode is horrible. First season wasn’t to bad but it just got worse in the i stop listening after 4 episodes of season 2

Great pod , great stories and well presented. But the adverts are to often . Unfortunately this seems to be an unwanted trend on any good pods now . Very annoying . Such a shame
Me2upoo via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 11/18/19
Interesting & chock full of interviews. However, the host really crushes it on his commercial reads. Weaves it into the narrative of the story/subject. He should host a seminar on live reads. Brilliant!

But I have to take a star off for showcasing the garden variety gangsters who have already been done to death. Arnold Rothstein? Come on.

It’s amazingly crafted podcast, which gives a very detailed life of American mafia and way they ruled the underworld for decades. I was hooked to this podcast primarily the way Fleet cooper tell the story. The best podcast for me to listen religiously.

Love hearing about all these old school wise guys, have seen that Coffey cop on documentaries nice to put a name to the voice, great podcast, loved all of these and nice they are in two parts rather than rushed, minimal adverts, minimal music and minimal annoying speaking voices, love it thanks

Wonderfully produced and narrated, very interesting and researched. I like the real, non romanticized depiction of what are, in the end, criminals. Highly recommended.
