This podcast is great for giving you a behind the scenes look at all the different aspects of TV production. Nick is a great host and the guests have tons of real life experience and some great stories, so you're hearing both the good and bad of the business. It's fun to see guests names in the...Read full review »

It's not a perfect podcast (one guest could NOT stop saying "like, um" to the point that it drove my teen crazy as well), but when the guests are articulate, it's full of great information and just enough "behind-the-scenes" dirt on shows we all know to sate my admittedly small appetite for...Read full review »

Loving this new podcast. So far, very good guests and Nick spurs some good conversations with great questions to teach outsiders about well, how the sausage gets made. Definitely check it out if you have any fascination with tv production and how things get done

Nick does a good job of keeping the information flowing while making his guest open up, giving us a personal peak into how shows get made. He does a good job of getting people with the same title but who have different experiences due to different types of shows (comedy vs drama) or different...Read full review »

I had no idea I was so interested in the behind the scenes workings of TV until I started listening to this. I have been completely enthralled by each episode and can’t stop thinking about them as I watch TV, “I wonder how they got clearance for that song?” “The casting on Master of None must...Read full review »

A bit of an outlier in the Previously TV/Extra Hot Great podcast family in that it's focussed on being informative rather than comedic, but I like that they're going broad with their podcasts. This is really interesting stuff.

Always interesting/entertaining to get an 'insiders' looking at another profession, especially one in a field that is so prevalent in everyone's lives (i.e. the entertainment business). Good balance of storyteller and general information with a comedic flavor.

Strong opening episode with two funny and articulate guests about what it takes to be a production assistant in Hollywood. Having a background in the job meant Nick's questions were informed and smart. Looking forward to the next episode
