“I've never read MamaMia as I am neither a mother, nor interested in being one. I thought this podcast and blog were for straight grrrls who wanted to talk about boys and TV. Neither of which I am interested in.
However, I have found my new obsession! MamaMia have joined me sitting on my roof staring at the moon and being morose (they made me happy again), walking my dog in the sun, and sitting at the kitchen table trying to avoid doing my work (they are helping work-avoidance too). I love their chatty kindness. I love their discussions on how feminism affects their everyday lives. And I even love the ways they talk about being mums (or to-be mums), TV, and boys. Turns out these are all fascinating subjects to dissect, poke fun at, analyse and ponder over.
I feel like these super-smart and fun chicks are my new friends. What a great podcast. Even if you're not a mum, have boyfriends, or watch telly, it's still a romping great listen.”Read full review »
