a grain of salt
Angie and Trevor are generally fun to listen to and provide some helpful advice, but I've found that after four years of running, most of their advice is very basic. It's a fun podcast in general. My favourite episode was when they interviewed their young son's race recap. However, as a medical doctor, I would advise that one podcast left me more than a little concerned about their marathon advice and drew me to unsubscribe from this podcast and search for another one. They interviewed a "weight loss expert", Dr Maki, a naturopath, who provided recommendations that clearly were contradictory to general, sound medical knowledge (i.e., counting calories). Rather than provide another voice to balance his perspective, Angie and Trevor seemed to wholly endorse his perspective. They have a fun podcast, but I'd take their advice with a grain of salt.Read full review »
