“I came across the end of the world series trough an alumni recommendation of the interview with Mary Kaldor and enjoyed it greatly. Since then I have followed up on a number of other episodes and I continue to enjoy the episodes! Great mix of the right duration, interesting division of topics and guest, and I like the overall style of the podcast.
Since I am normally lazy with reviews, I got to mention that the "get a great coffee mug for leaving a (including bad) review on ITunes" was the final decision maker to leave this review. The rating has nothing to do with this offer though - the podcast is great for everybody interested in global affairs & politics - and I enjoyed it very much even before I heard about the mug opportunity. Of course, a 30min format will not be able to go into great detail - but I don't think this is the aim of the format and I am a fan of getting "food for thought" that you can follow up with own research.
As I enjoyed the Mary Kaldor episode, I would be happy about a future episode with scholars like Herfried Münkler or Martin van Creveld.
Why it is not 5? Audio quality varies between the different episodes, some episodes are not great when it comes to the audio quality, others are. If this gets resolved, it is a solid 5 stars (already is in content)!”Read full review »
