Dr. Stephanie is leader in the field of food-based medicine. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree with her intent to heal herself and others using the latest pharmaceutical agents. She quickly learned most medicines did not heal but instead only manage symptoms. Having cancer at 21 that would not respond to pharmaceuticals she turned to foods and folk medicine to heal herself. She learned that there is a delicate balance between natural and Western medicine. After healing from her cancer, she went to work for pharmaceutical industry believing that would be inspired by her revelations. While with Big Pharma she conducted phase 4 clinical studies for and trained physicians in the optimal use of pharmaceutical based agents. Dr. Nielsen spent a decade in Big Pharma she decided to leave and pursue her true passion in folk medicine, ancient remedies and natural healing. She earned a board Certification in Clinical Nutrition, became certified in functional genomics and certified BHRT practitioner. She started her personal healing programs called Wishing You Wellness. Her focus includes auto-immunity remediation, BHRT hormone health, women's health and personal lifestyle medicine utilizing nutrigenomics. Dr. Stephanie is seasoned media personality. She is a sought-after expert in TV, print or as a speaker and author. Dr. Stephanie has served on multiple nutritional companies' medical boards and charitable board of directors.
