“Besides the fact that this podcast is not very funny and beyond its slightly offensive accents and racial stereotyping this podcast is just not a very useful learning tool. Its reviews seemed to be more "ER focused" and accordingly the topics are covered in a overly simplistic manner. Some of the information they provide is actually of questionable accuracy and their is a derth of literature citations to support some of their assertions. I paid 20$ for a bunch of these lectures and as an IM resident looked forward to quick helpful topic reviews but I just found these podcasts of little utility. They may be more appropriate for a second year medical school student though I think even for them they are likely a bit shallow. I love finding new learning tools in medicine and I think podcasts are a great method but there are a lot better FREE podcasts that one can find such as puscast, merck manual, medscape, lancet and a surgical ICU rounds by Jeffrey Guy......to name a few.”Read full review »

“It's a hilarious and entertaining review of medical cases. I suggest other med students subscribe and listen to it while driving, or when they need a break from studying.”Read full review »
