Such an informative and fun podcast. Great concise delivery of information, and entertaining at that. Goofy at times, but that’s part of the fun! Lived on this podcast for months and wish there was still episodes!

I love these case studies. Where can I buy more of these?

Hey! I have listened to the 4 free podcasts that are available. I think the information is great, and I'm a big fan of the case review. However, the bad "reenactments" are horrifically racist. Specifically the poor Latino imitation and the borat-style middle-eastern imitation....Read full review »

I was disappointed because the podcast is informative and a good quick review. Unfortunately the accents are a little much... especially since the educated doctor is always speaking perfect English while the non compliant, up to no good patients have various accents. It takes away from the...Read full review »

Well done. Suggestions: could you put more differential Dx when you do a case presentation? Keep the narrations. I love them!

I only managed to listen to the first 5 minutes of the one on gonorrhoea and chlamydia in men! Awful! Just awful! Really not funny in the slightest and actually made me a little angry! The fake Eastern European accent is annoying and the content of the podcast is bordering on racist!

As useful as the information is in these example case studies, I'm so offended by the racial stereotypes that I had to unsubscribe. A socially privileged white health care provider with no ethical qualms about mocking a community of people who struggle to access appropriate care in the first...Read full review »

I can't tell you how good these podcasts are. A great fun way to learn medicine. I feel, my medical knowledge has really improved by listening to these podcasts. I bought both albums, after listening to a trial lesson. Best money I have ever spent, better then my medical textbooks.

I find the podcasts informational but regrettably the impersonations (ie. peds fever) are ignorant and repulsive.

I used to listen to these all the time back when they were free. Now you gotta pay for them so minus one star. Otherwise these are great. I am a field paramedic and these podcasts were able to cater to my incredibly limited attention spa.. I discovered them at a critical point in my career when I...Read full review »

Besides the fact that this podcast is not very funny and beyond its slightly offensive accents and racial stereotyping this podcast is just not a very useful learning tool. Its reviews seemed to be more "ER focused" and accordingly the topics are covered in a overly simplistic manner. ...Read full review »

Lighten up. Jacobs' delivery is refreshing compared to so many other Med sites. If you think he's offensive leave us alone and listen to one of the monotonous, dreary poscasts somewhere else. It's probably better suited to your delicate sensitivities.Read full review »

I cannot believe that an educated man in the medical field could produce a podcast rife with stereotypes in an attempt at humor!! There are ways to transmit knowledge without ridiculing other races, and I will definitely look elsewhere for similar podcasts in much better taste. AVOID.

To those of you complaining about the accents, get over it. I personally find them amusing. They aren't being insensitive, just entertaining. Fantastic for a summary of a condition whilst in the car. The accents are amusing- only the very uptight need get offended as a broad range of geographic accents are picked on. Very useful- please keep it up.
