“There is good information here, but the host portrays the patients doing ethnic accents, making grammatical errors that I'm sure he finds hysterical. Many physicians in this country have accents similar to those he mocks, and are probably not amused. The host himself pronounces pharynx as if it were fair-nix. Almost as bad and George Bush and "nuculer." He also presents some out of date information, such as recommending IV phenytoin as first line for status epilepticus. This went out years ago, when phosphenytoin was introduced, as phenytoin can cause loss of tissue or even limb if it extravasates (purple glove syndrome). Give it at your medicolegal peril! He could do much better if he just did a straight medical presentation, without the attempted humor.”Read full review »

“I would recommend this podcast for pre-hospital providers as well. Paramedics and EMTs will enjoy the topics as much as medical students. The podcasts on cardiac arrest and acid base balance are very useful.”

“It's a hilarious and entertaining review of medical cases. I suggest other med students subscribe and listen to it while driving, or when they need a break from studying.”Read full review »
