A surprisingly excellent podcast
I tend to think Nick Hornby is really over-rated as an author, and have given up on his books on several occasions. However - I really like his taste in music, so it was for this reason I decided to give the podcast a listen. And I'm really pleased I did. Hornby interviews really well - he comes over as an intelligent, decent character, who has achieved a lot of good through his fame as a writer. What's more, he cares passionately about music, and this comes over really strongly in the podcast. Another bonus - the interview is conducted by someone who is good at the craft of asking questions and allowing the person space to give interesting answers. A great listen - and the start of a promising new podcast series about authors. Have subscribed already!Read full review »

Stephen is a legend in his own right and this is another great tid bit into his mind. The only critique is at the recording, it'd of been nice to hear the questions from the audience more clearly as they were mostly inaudible.Read full review »

This is one of my favourite podcasts, but Apple have managed to mess up the name of it. It's supposed to be Itunes: Meet the Author, but Guillermo del Toro's name is on all the podcasts. Please fix this and join these with the original Meet the Auhtor!Read full review »

A fantastic range of speakers doing readings from their books, talking eloquently about their passions and answering questions about their work. A wonderful podcast.
