Great show - and even better music!
It took me a while to get into Melodic Treks as the format is different from most of the Trek.fm podcasts, the best of which succeed on the strength of the relationships between co-hosts - complete with running jokes, friendly bickering and so on. Here we have just one host - albeit often joined by interesting interview subjects - and a more measured, gentler style. But Brandon-Shea Mutala's mellow tones are perfect for the show, and he brings an infectious enthusiasm to every topic. Best of all, there are generous helpings of Star Trek music to enjoy, making each episode a pleasure to listen to.

Brandon is a terrific host and knowledgeable to boot. If you enjoy music and Trek, or even just music in general and the stories behind how those pieces came to life, this is absolutely a show you need to put in your regular rotation.

I have loved the music of Star Trek since I was a child. This show does a great job of not only sharing more of that music, but provides a lot of great insights into the music that I have not previously been exposed to. Really informative.

Colin does a wonderful job of making this podcast more than just a love letter to Trek music. His explores the origin of all Trek music, which can be a rabbit hole for all music lovers. This shows that Trek music is not composed in a vacuum (of space). Great job!
