A funny yet serious discussion about mental illness
As a person who has lived with depression, anxiety, and ADHD I would highly recommend this podcast to others who suffer from or are interested in learning about mental illness. Paul Gilmartin does a great job hosting the show in way that is accepting of a wide variety of ideologies and beliefs (medication vs no medication, religious vs spiritual vs atheist, etc). As a comic with life long experience with mental illness, he is able to laugh with his guests and understand many of their experiences. The show is not a therapy podcast but an open discussion about people's experiences. In that way, I think many people can relate to the discussion and appreciate knowing that they are not alone! It's a very interesting and enlightening podcast, which focuses on issues of mental illness in a refreshing and uplifting manner. I highly recommend it!Read full review »

Great, worthy idea. The interviews are getting better and better. Paul's chat with Chris Fairbanks is riveting and very moving. And the jokes are great too.Read full review »

All I can say right now in the midst of a very bad situation in my life is thank you Paul. Hearing these stories give me hope and a healthy perspective on the fact that everything is transitional like sunny days and rain. The clouds on top do not seem as dense as they were a few weeks back.

However, Paul and his guests have a way of presenting this very difficult topic easy to listen to and more enjoyable than I thought it would be. It's very cathartic...Read full review »
