Finding hope and understanding
As someone living with MS, discovering this podcast has been such a god send. I've been a longtime fan of both Christina and Jamie-Lynn and hearing them speak so candidly about their journeys with MS has been deeply inspiring. It feels like a weekly chat with a support group of my sisters. I was diagnosed three years ago at the age of 40, but my road to diagnosis was a long and complicated one—over 15 years of various diagnoses including fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, optic neuritis, chronic migraines and IBS. No one pieced together that all these issues were connected and it was only later that I learned they were all part of my MS. Listening to Christina and Jamie-Lynn share their stories, I can’t help but wonder—did they experience any early warning signs or symptoms before diagnosis that, looking back, might have prompted them to seek answers sooner? I ask because I know how frustrating and isolating the diagnostic process can be when no one seems to connect the dots. This podcast is a beacon of hope and understanding for anyone living with MS or seeking to better understand it. Jamie-Lynn and Christina’s honesty and humor make tough topics easier to navigate and I truly appreciate their willingness to share their stories with such authenticity.Read full review »
