Fun, thoughtful, fiercely Indigenous
Aanii! Robojibwe chiming in! Beep boop. Metis in Space is hilarious and thought-provoking. The best combination. The first episode I listened to was about the Star Trek TOS episode, "The Paradise Syndrome". It made me an instant fan. I'm fairly sure the power of Molly and Chelsea's ire has caused many warp core breaches. This show is deeply important to me for many reasons. I am Indigenous. I am a Trekkie. I want to work with modern technology to help enable our peoples to revitalize and reclaim our cultures! Chi miigwech to all involved in Metis in Space for your good work. You are inspiring. You have helped legitimize my dreams. I hope this show is around for a long time to come!Read full review »

Mean Rez Girls Podcast! Genius. I could write a book on that. But really, it's great to hear two native chicks talk shop about sci fi from an indigenous perspective. Good job.Read full review »

Smart, nuanced critiques, enthusiastic nerdiness, and genuinely funny hosts—this podcast is some of the best media criticism I have ever heard in a podcast and I love it. (And as a white person, it’s also taught me a lot along the way.) One of my favorite podcasts.
