“I find this show very informative as it tries to close the gap between Europe and the US. As a Canadian we often feel we are in the mid Atlantic now in understanding our friends on both sides. More Canadian content as it relates to this would be appreciated ie trade and tariffs”
“Good quality discussions, amazing range of experts and perspectives. Roifield does an admirable job of keeping discussions respectful and yet also stimulating of thought and insight.”

“Roifield’s podcasts never fail to stimulate some of the stagnant parts of my brain. (Not medical advice). The guests are engaging and Roifield knows how to make complex issues digestible. I would say I enjoy them with a nice cup of Cafe con Leche, but to respect the host, I’ll have some English tea.”

“Roifield Brown is both intelligent and mellow. He manages to go deep into the subject and make the time that you spent listening worthwhile and educational, but he is mellow enough to make it all fun as well.”

“As a Canadian I always enjoy listening to the entertaining Mid Atlantic podcast. Roifield has very interesting and knowledgeable guests, who are well informed on the topic of the day.
It’s great when he leaves the usual format of comparing British and US (and occasionally Canadian) politics, and...”Read full review »

“Roifield puts together an interesting panel every episode. I do like to contrast and compare where the US is compared to the UK on many issues.
I have really enjoyed the recent Focus on Ukraine.”

““It’s inconceivable that the United Kingdom or the United States would take in 1 million brown people…” Those words were spoken by the host in the recent Germany new government episode.

“Whilst the political commentary can be in depth, it claims to be neutral looking at both sides of the Atlantic now ring hollow, the more you listen the more the bias eminates.
I can handle a left leaning bias but it has got to the point where the host in the latest episode cut off a guest who...”Read full review »

“Thoughtful but accessible podcast, with interesting and well-informed guests on comparisons & contrasts between US & UK (and beyond) political cultures. Always enlightening and a welcome atmosphere of friendly civility.”
“Roifield Brown gathers together some deep thinkers to look at the topics of the day from a variety of different perspectives. My favourite is Mick from Norwich and if you like your politics a bit sweary, left leaning and well thought through, you will love him too.”
