Sweet and ringing with truth
Plenty of podcasts feature a narrator monologuing into a microphone, and this particular podcast demonstrates the best that this narrative form can offer. The story unfolds beautifully and carries the authentic weight of truth. This feels like a very personal, honest analysis of how our origins define us, for better or worse. The gentle tension between the two main characters is wonderfully done and feels very much like the inner dialogue of anyone struggling to come to terms with their past.
