I loved listening to it unfold. I listened to it over the course of a couple days and I think I’ll be coming back to hear it again.

A great well thought out story I enjoyed! I wish it had been longer. It felt a bit rushed, but maybe that’s just me wanting more, wanting to hear all those midnight stories and letters. But it’s all the right kinds of longing and makes my queer heart ache.

Your new favorite one-season podcast! Strong and kind and surprisingly personal. This show made me smile and be happy in a way that felt meaningful after each episode. Every ghost story is a love story, and this is no exception.

The core theme of the show is “Every ghost story is, at its heart, a love story,” and good god does it deliver. It’s haunting, beautiful, and even if it never quite explains EVERYTHING it tells a story you’ll remember. One of my favorite self-contained story podcasts out there. I really hope the...Read full review »

A wonderful story that really grabs hold of your heart. Poignant, dreamlike, a mix of nostalgic-feeling and inspiring to hope for better, iIt has some really touching things to say about homes and grief and futures and the narrator's voice is phenomenally acted so it really feels genuinely...Read full review »

What a soft, poetic, aching, gorgeous podcast. In very little time it makes you care so much for the two protagonists, but more than that it really makes you feel like it’s midnight, and you’re listening to the soft advice and stories of a friend, alone, staring at your window and the stars....Read full review »

This was such a sweet and captivating story. The performance is excellent--she captures both the sense of her time period and the emotional depths of her character, really taking you on a journey through a life out of time. Beautifully done.

Plenty of podcasts feature a narrator monologuing into a microphone, and this particular podcast demonstrates the best that this narrative form can offer. The story unfolds beautifully and carries the authentic weight of truth. This feels like a very personal, honest analysis of how our origins...Read full review »

Okay. First of all, I cried at the end and I can't stop thinking about it. So in one sense that's the review done right there. But also ... this is a gorgeous piece of work, put together so well; it's tightly plotted, wonderfully acted, and brilliantly written. There's enough...Read full review »

There is something so special about this podcast! It's reminisent of other podcasts where the main character is recording themselves... But adds *SO MUCH* with its storytelling of a narrator about the history of her and this town. And it gives a sense of unease when you start to realize...Read full review »

Midnight Radio has become one of my favorite podcasts. The pacing is perfect - revealing just a little bit of the story at a time, enough for you to start putting pieces together, but withholding enough for you to keep wanting to tune in to the next episode! I can't wait for the next...Read full review »

I'm a big fan of old time radio shows, and while Midnight Radio follows that tradition, it's still a very unique podcast. The production, voice acting and writing are all great. There's also a haunting nostalgia present, which gives it a ghostly quality that I love. Best of all, the...Read full review »

Only a few episodes in and I’m loving the way the story captures both the time period and also the feeling of living in a small town.

This has an Anne of Green Gables vibe to it. Just the narrator is so poetic... and the way she tells stories about her childhood, idk? I love Midnight Radio already, and I just can’t wait for the next episode!
