All ghost stories are love stories.
Okay. First of all, I cried at the end and I can't stop thinking about it. So in one sense that's the review done right there. But also ... this is a gorgeous piece of work, put together so well; it's tightly plotted, wonderfully acted, and brilliantly written. There's enough structure for the artistry to be visible, but not so much that it takes away from the world and story of it. And it's so sweet, and sad, and affirming, and so many other things, all in just the right way. All ghost stories are love stories. If that sentence gets you, then this is for you.Read full review »

Plenty of podcasts feature a narrator monologuing into a microphone, and this particular podcast demonstrates the best that this narrative form can offer.
