Excellent work by Connie Walker and team
This is a compelling and tragic story that is well told. Connie Walker maintains a riveting crime drama narrative while also being reflective and careful to acknowledge the emotional impacts of the story on Alberta's family. Throughout the podcast, we also never lose sight of the fact that Alberta's story is but one of the thousand plus missing or murdered Indigenous women in Canada. This does not serve to minimize the tragedy of Alberta's death, but instead amplifies the importance of all of their lives and the need to tell more of their stories. Miigwetch! Hiy hiy.Read full review »

Well reported and good details but narrators voice is monotone and boring. Good and interesting story though.

I am really impressed with this podcast. The main journalist, Connie Walker, is telling the story of one missing woman and also illuminating a much larger social justice issue in Canada. This is not just another true crime podcast.
