When I first discovered Casefile, there were only 5 episodes to immediately binge, bc I was sick at the time. I immediately fell in love with the focus on the victims and absolute lack of fascination for perpetrators the anonymous Host displays. He feels like a strong moral presence that makes these deep dives into sadly lost lives bearable. I also like the way he structures the narratives, in a sober, clear cut way. And his narrating voice and inflection is perfect for this genre, and soothing to me especially when gripped by a string migraine, which I am plagued with. I have since relied on Casefile to take my mind off the pain, and am very, very thankful. Wish I could help the family here, but can't.Read full review »

Sorry, can’t sit through the voice. It sounds automated and hard to not zone out to the rhythm it sets and lack of humanity in the voice.
