Always been fascinated with missing person cases, huge fan of “Unfound” community & Missing 411 Dave Paulidas . This is definitely a 5 star show, presenting facts, intimate interviews with the victims friends, family. Huge fan, trying to listen to every show. Let’s help this show grow &...Read full review »

Unfortunately it was difficult to listen to sister of missing. Seemed like the sister was busy doing something else, talking to someone else, maybe texting while person is trying to interview her. Felt sorry for the interviewer trying to do an informative podcast.

I like the stories, they are well researched and interesting. The interview portion is a little dicey IMO, some are better than others but just seems difficult to get a real dialogue going with the subject of the interviews in sine cases and seems kind of forced. Good overall though

I really enjoy this podcast! Well researched, and I like the format very much. Great work, you two! Thank you!

Podcast was amazing. I really enjoyed the way the broke the information into two parts. The first being case focused. The second victim focused. It definitely allows the listener to focus on the case & then get to know the players. So that you aren’t biased when you first get into it. Well done!

Just a brilliant podcast I like Jess doing the history of the case at the beginning of the show and Mike is a really good interviewer please keep going

Finally a podcast about Randy Leach, we still are looking for him, we will never give up!

The first half of the podcast is good, but listening to the interview section is difficult. I understand the family members are not podcasters, but the audio quality is poor, they often are unable to express their thoughts and ideas in a coherent manner, and some answer every question with “i...Read full review »

Listening to two episodes…the male podcaster sounds like he’s unsure of what to say….his speech is hesitant and I think he has a speech impediment…as well, use of incorrect English is hard to hear….he actually sounds like he’s totally uninterested….says hmmmm, huh, and has NO enthusiasm...Read full review »

I really enjoy listening to this podcast. I listen to all of the podcast that Morf hosts or co-hosts etc. If Mike Mitford is involved I know it will have been throughly researched and very interesting and enjoyable to listen to.
Nanadx3 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/25/22
To put it plainly, this podcast is just not good at all. The male host has a problem with grammar and tends to end his sentences with prepositions. This makes me want to tear my ears off. Additionally, the conversation with the relative is raw and could be cut down as it is extremely repetitive....Read full review »

Well researched. The female host speaks too fast and is reading off a script. Not enjoyable to listen to.

Stop using the beeping music in the first part of the females part. I kept think my my car was beeping at me. It’s annoying and grates on your nerves.

Mike is not an active listener at all. Do y’all actually listen to the interviews before posting the episode? Mike consistently asks questions to victim family members that they will have just shared. He always sounds super awkward like he’s trying to think of the questions off the hip. he...Read full review »

Mixed feelings about this show. I enjoy podcasts about missing persons. They’re by far my favorite in the True Crime genre. The first part of this show, the part done with the woman, is done very well. The second part however is so bad. The interviewer doesn’t really ask probing questions. There...Read full review »

I really enjoy this podcast overall. The female narrator speaks really fast which I find makes it a bit difficult to keep up with. Appreciate all podcasts bringing attention to missing persons.

Sugar coat the missing peoples lives. Chris douthat was a bad person his girlfriend was a awful mother and junkie. How old was Chris and he didn’t even have a car? Common now bad things don’t always happen to these great wonderful people some times these peoples live choices are what brings about...Read full review »

The content is good but the voice of the male presenter, Mike, is unbearable - he slurs words and has an awful nasal, thick-tongued sound to his speech. I can't bear to listen to him and had to stop after trying several episodes and finding his voice very unpleasant . The female presenter is...Read full review »

Mike’s empathy is clear in each interview. He does a good job of active listening and helping the loved one of the missing person open up. I would feel safe talking to him. Jess is also really good at giving a clear explanation of the situation. I would recommend. I also appreciate the lack of...Read full review »

I used to listen to The Vanished Podcast by Wonderly. But I got tired of the host’s long drawn out monotone and her lack of even the most basic human emotion. Not to mention relating herself to everything but yet not seeming to fully connect ‘As a parent I can’t imagine…’ is among her favorite...Read full review »

This podcast has improved significantly. I always really loved it but the interviewer deserves a massive amount of credit for the remarkable shift in his skills. Loud, hyped-up commercial ads. 2 Stars. One two-minute Introducing (Missing) episode, TWO loud obnoxious commercials. Geez.

Great podcast. Enjoy both parts. Appreciate the help you are giving the families.

Odd
I feel like the idea for this podcast was slapped together haphazardly. They give you a summary of the case and then they go into a long seemingly unedited interview with the missing person’s loved one which is obviously going to be extremely biased. There’s no investigation or even attempt to...Read full review »

I mean this show is good but I cannot stand how she sounds like a robot. She is a HORRIBLE narrater. She makes it completely boring. I’m just gonna have to unsubscribe because of this. I like this podcast and it has a great premise, but Morf needs to stop asking awkward leading questions and just let the family member/guest speak.

Ok
Does Mike not read the case information prior to the family interview? Seems he asks questions that were already discussed. Or asks stupid questions. This podcast could be improved.
