Gill is always thorough with his work, a great and easy listen for all levels of players and fans. If there’s on tennis podcast to listen to, this is the one!

Superior tennis podcast. Technical, opinionated, reasoned, punchy. It’s difficult to record a compelling monologue podcast but Gill manages to do it every time. He also happens to be a AAA commentator in US Open radio. 5 stars

I agree with David Chicagoooo review that you present objectively without regard to “feelings” about players . Helps me out personally, when I get down on my own fave, AND when others are hyping my non-faves. It’s a win-win !

Love that you keep personal emotions about players out of your analysis, something that much of the tennis media struggles with. Great way of conveying your points and stimulating my own thoughts, even when I disagree. Keep it up.

Excellent and incisive analysis of the game, if you like details regarding strategy (I do!) this is your podcast. A comment about seeing the great Rafa Nadal back on clay in Barcelona. I now realize how small he makes the court look unlike any other. Thankful to see him back!

Gill’s analysis is uniquely insightful, thoughtful, and measured. Been listening for over a year and I’m not sure I’ve missed an episode. He’s rare in sport podcasting generally as he’s pretty neutral about all the players and I really think that helps his analysis. Also appreciate how he doesn’t...Read full review »

Great podcast that taught me a lot about tennis tactics and other tennis related information. A question for the post-USO 23 mailbag: since you didnt do a video on it, any thoughts on the sinner/zverev match? A general question: whats the more important shot - the serve or the return of serve?...Read full review »

Gil goes deep on the sweet science of tennis and the atp tour. This is what tennis nerds crave 🤓

Interesting analysis but was disappointed to find that coverage is focused primarily on the atp. Please give equal coverage to the women!!

Please please do not put spoilers in your episode titles! I almost never have the chance to watch live, and would have loved (ie) NOT to know the outcome of the Cincinnati final before seeing it. Even with notifications turned off the title is glaring when the pod is in my feed. Thanks!

Hi Gill! I love your content, so congrats for that! I have one question about match-up. In fact, Djokovic spoke about his hard fights against Spanish players. Since his second period of his career (after his come back in 2018), Djokovic struggle against RBA & PCB: Why? I mean, both players...Read full review »

If you like understanding patterns of play and tactics in pro matches, this is for you. I’m a not very good amateur player, but an avid watcher, and this podcast helps me enjoy watching pro tennis more as I feel more ‘in the game’.

Hey Gill amazing show, when there’s a new episode the whole family comes around to watch, my question is during the alcaraz- djokavich final what were you thinking threw out. I know for me at least I wasn’t sure this was going to be a very interesting match after the first set, thanks!

Hey Gill, love your commentary! I wanted to ask about the next generation of tennis. All of the Masters 1000 finals this season have included Alcaraz, Rune or Sinner. What do you think zverev needs to do to reach his level from last year Roland garros? Hi Gill, I have a question regarding Coco Gauff’s forehand. Instead of changing her extreme grip, which it feels like it is too late to do, what are other changes or tweaks she can make to her forehand wing in order to make it more reliable and potentially a strength?
